Good Morning Supporters...
The Obersee-Masters tournament in Jona has finsished on Sunday. Namibia B completed the tournament on the 18th rank in the B category while Namibia hold onto the 23rd rank in the A Category. Although that both teams were ranked in the bottom the national coaches Stefan Groegli and Chrstian Schluep were quite happy with the performance as we played against other national teams like Brazil and Italy as well as premier club teams from Germany, Swiss and Austria. Further Schluep mentioned that the fitness level of the squad is very good as we all were iin a fairly good shape after the test match against Chile and the 9 games at the Obersee-Masters which both teams had to play. After Namibia B lost their first game against the USA, they came back and won the second time around against the USA in the playoffs.
Namibia A hat sich am Samstag gut geschlagen trotz 5 Niederlagen. Alle spiele wurden knapp mit 5-7 punkten nur verloren. Am Sonntag wurde der erste Sieg eingefahren gegen Diepoldsau die in der Schweizer National Liga A spielen. Zum Abschluss wurde die gesamte Manschafft beim Trainer Schluep zum grillieren (braaien) eingeladen.
